This is a great product for DIY and tough repairs. It Gives you multiple connection options to CPVC, PEX and other materials for a mix and max setup especially for pre-existing pluming. This is a DIY’s best friend. Only reason not 5 stars that that the size of the fittings tend to take up more space which isn’t ideal; but you can work around that aspect. Overall, a great product and very easy to use. The online push depth guide works great and I recommend marking the pipe so you know it’s fully seated every time.

SharkBite fittings are the answer for the average DYI homeowner with no plumbing skills or the professional needing to install a fitting in a location where gas is not an option. Considering the SharkBite fitting will accept copper tubing, pex tubing and PVC tubing, it gives the individual a serious amount of options. And they are tested to 300 PSI. My go to fitting for any cramped or fire hazardous environment!

Worked well, had an old one fail so I picked one of these up. Cut the old one out had to replace a little piping to make the old ones long enough to fit. It clicked right into place no leaks when I put water pressure back on. Mission accomplished!

It works! And it really is easy as pushing the pipe all the way on, and that’s literally it. Just make sure there are no sharp edges on the pipe.

Basement washroom plumbing was old and needed to be overhauled. To my surprise PEX and the SharkBite quick connect components really made the job easy. Just make sure you buy the proper cutter, clamps and/or quick connect attachments and you’ll be all set. It also helps to buy the removal tool if you need to fix/correct something once you’ve finished the job.

Easy slip on install. Same integrity as fittings requiring plumbers compression tool. Both utilize internal o-rings to seal, not the crimp as plumbers will tell you. Caution, plumbers will game you and won’t guarantee even THEIR SERVICE if owner provides NEW parts as opposed to one plumber provides and mark up 3-5x.

It did its job wonderfully it let me replace an undersized polybutylene line with a better size pecks line and allow me to write water in multiple locations

I use them in the right place. They hold good on PEX and the cpvc plastic. I’ve seen the stainless steel teeth slip twice on copper when it freezes, pushed them right off, but the idea is to have your supply lines in a safe place away from the elements.

Very easy to use and quick installation. When used with PEX-B pipe, it really helps to achieve a solid connection.

I got everything I needed through the mail when every store in this area was out of pipe and pipe fittings due to the weird snow storm that hit Texas. We do our own plumbing (farm life) but couldn’t get parts. saved the day.

Needed a push connector in a T and as always works very well. Do not do a lot of plumbing so it is worth the extra cost for ease of use.

I just discovered these fittings recently and they are so much better than the old messy kinds of fittings. Push fittings are very forgiving, allowing removal and rebuilding, adjusting direction without taking them apart, disassembly and reassembly without having to buy to to redo anything. They don’t even have to be dry to work with or have curing time. Due diligence for pricing and different versions of push fittings pays off. They can be located in multiple areas of the same store, so ask someone and check every area out before making final choices. These are well worth the price, especially for non-professionals. Don’t forget to pick up the inexpensive small clip release tools (get the multipack) and wrench type release tools for disassembly. These fittings are also perfect to use any time there may be plumbing changes and updates expected in the future. What a great flexible-use product!!!

This was exactly what I needed and worked perfectly, between copper and pex piping, no leaks.
