This adapter makes it possible to connect the chimney to the appliance without having to cut the section. All you do is slide to appropriate height then tighten down the screw. Makes for a neat, safe installation.

B-vent isn’t easy to come by here in Daytona but had everything I needed to complete the job. the products I ordered were a little dusty but that didn’t effect the systems at all. lol..

This product is finished well with no sharp edges. These pipes are used with others of varying lengths to establish a complete exhaust system, so fit and how it all clips together is important. I was impressed with the variety of attention bends and lengths available to get the job completed.

I had paid a company to put in gas hot water heater in the 90,s, several years ago I replaced the piping with this double wall pipe and now extended it 4 feet to get it out of view all the same piping replaced 10 years ago still in good shape!

Only issue i have is lowes doesn’t carry the thru wall adapter for 4 inch. They have it for 3 inch. So i had to go to a sheetmetal outfit to get one.

The actual size of this item is 4″ dia x 18″ long. That is what the Selkirk label says. description says 4″ dia x 2ft (24″). So you are getting less of an item than described at most likely a 24″ price.

Used to put new stack with elbows on new gas water heater. Hack sawed to the correct length and connected to the elbow I purchsed. Locked right in easy installation well made.

Dents easily and requires a lot of force to combine pieces. I think it’s a sturdy built product and meets standards but a little difficult to assemble
