SharkBite PEX-B is a cross-linked polyethylene tubing designed for use in residential and commercial plumbing applications. PEX pipe is flexible and easy to work with, which reduces the number of fittings needed to complete a job; reducing cost and leak points. PEX is also extremely durable and corrosion/freeze resistant. SharkBite PEX is compatible with brass or plastic barb fittings using copper crimp ring or stainless steel clamp connection methods or push-to-connect fittings.

- Highest-rated chlorine resistance, six-month UV resistance
- Approved for use with push-to-connect (ASSE 1061), plastic barb (ASTM F2159), and brass barb (ASTM F1807) fittings

Brings hot water to kitchen and bathroom sinks in 1/4 the time as 1/2 ” line. I still get 2 gallons a minute flow rate of hot water which is way more than a faucet uses.
