SharkBite push-to-connect fittings are the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe in any combination. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. Simply insert the pipe and the teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a watertight seal. Changes can easily be made by rotating the fitting after installation. Removing the fitting is just as fast using a disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed or reused. Designed with stainless steel gripping teeth for a secure connection, chlorine-resistant O-ring for a long-lasting seal and backed by a 25-year warranty.

They are very easy to use. They fail to mention that they are no good for under ground use. 2 years and you will be replacing them.

Not much to say here, just push it on and it works. Need to make a change in the future, no worries, just use the shark bite removal tool and take it off. Then put it back on when you need to. Great for when you don’t want to break out your brazing torch or if it’s in a really tight place.

I got this to check out a leak in my main line from the city box to the home. I had to search in sections and this connector made it possible to connect and check for leaks. you could then remove and check the next section until i found what section the leak was in. this saved time because I did not have to solder and unsolder a cap pipe each time i wanted to check a section. i found the leak and everything is great.

I am a big fan of Snakebites. I purchased this one because I had a water emergency and needed to cap off a pipe in a hurry. Unfortunately it was a pvc pipe and Snakebites don’t work on pvc. Thanks to great return policy returning it was not a problem.

SharkBite fittings are are the quickest , easiest way to install water lines. Anyone can watch a 2 minute video on YouTube and be knowledgeable on these fittings.
