The SharkBite EvoPEX system is a push-to-connect rough-in plumbing solution that requires no special tools, crimp or clamp rings to make a connection. EvoPEX fittings improve efficiency and reduce installation time. Green visual indicator lets you know when pipe is inserted to the proper depth and reduces the risk of installation errors and potential leaks. Made from high-performance acudel polymer, which provides outstanding chemical and chloramine resistance along with excellent anti-decay stability and dimensional stability. SharkBite PEX pipe and EvoPEX fittings are made in the USA and come with a 25-year system warranty.

If you see green your golden, simple fast easy just make.sure pex is clean no scratches and cut straight. Works as it should

Not real pleased with the product. Very Chinsey. Only pex to pex connections unlike the heavy duty brass connections which can connect to copper. The price is half that if the heavy duty pex fittings, but not worth a future plumbing problem. Would not buy again.

I started off fixing a leak in our whole-house filter system and found that all the galvanized fittings used by our plumber were rusted on the inside. I ended up replacing all the piping and fittings. Using the push-on fittings made the job simple and went quickly. I’m a fan.

Seem to.take extra Teflon than i normally use quick connect side great, if it straight cut, clean without blemishes green is golden with a firm push
