SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings allow you make pipe connections with half the insertion effort while withstanding double the burst pressure. Featuring a newly designed stainless-steel retainer, SharkBite Max delivers additional strength and durability while providing a 250-psi pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less effort and doesn’t require a PEX tube liner. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required for installation. They are the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and HDPE pipe. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments, and removing the fitting is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed or reused. (SharkBite push-to-connect fittings are the fastest when compared to other conventual plumbing methods. All other comparisons relate to first generation SharkBite push-to-connect products.)

It works as designed. I wish they made one with two individual shut off’s. One for the sink supply and one for the dishwasher supply.

This sharkbite valve makes it quick and easy to hook up the supply lines. The valve slides on quickly and easily to the existing lines. No worries if leaking. The double supply ends give the ability to hook up a faucet and dish washer. Also cold side to faucet and ice maker

Was able to replace leaking valve without having to solder. Just trimmed old firings and this one slid right on.

Super easy to use, works far better than compression connectors

Product work as described quick and easy great for a double sink vanity! Highly recommend.

Shark bites work do well and are do easy to install. If you don’t have the tools to solder or know how these are the perfect solution. You can remove these if you have to in the future. Having supply to your sink and ice maker with simple connections makes these the perfect service valve.

Way overpriced

I must admit when I first heard about SharkBites, I was not convinced that they would live up to the hype. After having used on several different DIY home repairs I am convinced. I always have a couple sitting in my plumbing repair kit since they solve the problem of not having to use an open flame in tight spaces to sweat a solder connection . A couple of must do’s when using is to make sure you clean the pipe end of any burrs and or residue. Take a fine grit piece of sand paper and clean back a couple of inches from the end of where you plan to connect the bite. The second is to make sure that the bite locks on the pipe, in other word don’t just push it on but try pulling off after pushing, this is where the bite occurs. Anyway, great product, a bit pricey but easy to apply.

I had a leaky valve under the sink that shared hot water with my sink and dishwasher. This did the trick and is s nice secure shut off that water doesn’t leak thru when you close it. Gotta love Shark Bite!

I had no idea these valves even existed. I went to the store planning on buying a valve to plumb in my dishwasher to the new PEX I already had run to the kitchen sink. When I saw all this double valve I was pretty happy! I was able to simply undo the quick connect valve that I had and replace it with this double valve and have everything back on just a couple minutes.

When I first heard about these fittings, I wondered how well they actually would work, but I had a super small area to work in, so I figured it was worth a try. To my surprise, they leaked not a single drop, and pressed on even smoother than expected.

Easy as pie. Worked flawlessly for splitting a copper water supply for dishwasher and sink faucet. No leaks 6 mo later.

Works just as expected, and the worker at helped me find it! 🙂

I bought one, and the valve wouldn’t open. Thankfully, I didn’t install it yet. I returned it and installed a new one that opened. However, the valve never closes all the way. The sharkbite fitting is fine, but if you’re working on a project where it might be hours or days before you connect the sink and dishwasher, then I HIGHLY recommend putting both hoses on it and putting the other end in the drain. If you don’t, your cabinets and floors will be soaked.

Assists in plumbing connections. Push to connect is convenient

Very easy to install, however the valve was faulty on mine. It weeped out both compression connectors when the valve was closed. Now have to remove and replace.

SharkBite Chrome 1/2-in Push-to-Connect x 3/8-in OD Compression Quarter the quick connect make the job faster complete

Great piece makes the job go smooth. Works as advertised

This is just what I needed to connect my dish washer in such a hard to reach place. No soldering or heat required, also, no leaks , perfect!

Shark bite connectors are of good quality and are extremely easy to use. I am a contractor (DW Varady Carpentry Co) and I use a ton of input products. Although I use these quite often, I do not put these fittings in areas that are not accessible.

Slid on and locked into place. Installed on cpvc pipe. Pipe had to be cut to remove glued fittings. Followed instructions. Cleaned pipe carefully. Used 400 grit wet/dry sand paper to clean and smooth cut. The cut has to be clean on the pipe inside out.

This product worked phenomenally! Just make sure the pipe is clean and smooth and slide it into place. Done!

Especially easy installation when having to work in tight space under sink. Quality construction unlike the 6 valves I had to replace. All of which had valve stems that broke clean off in my hand while trying to shut of the water.

I highly recommend this product. I have used Shark Bite several times and have never been disappointed. I was replacing an old compression angle stop with a ferrule and it was a royal pain to remove. I will use an “olive puller” next time! Anyway, after doing a little prep to the 1/2” copper pipe,(clean the outside and debur the inside edge-make sure you do this!) the Shark went on easily and no leaks. These things are wonderful for DIY’ers like myself.

Thank you for having what I needed to finish my project. It worked great and was exactly what I needed.

I have used SharkBites since they first came out. We have used a few of the Angle Valves replacing inlet valves at my house and my daughters when we replaced toilets. Replacing the old compression fitting valves with SharkBites is the best and easiest way to go. They have to be one of the best inventions ever for people that do their own minor plumbing jobs. One of the nice things is if you ever have to remove the valve it comes with the little tool to remove it attached.

I love this product! I was convinced that I needed a Plumber to come do this one job. After learning of this product. All I needed was a pipe cutter and this magnificent product, The Sharkbite! It took me less than 10 minutes to install!

I liked this product. This is the first time I used this. It was easy to work with. Just snap to your line and cut to size.
