SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings allow you make pipe connections with half the insertion effort while withstanding double the burst pressure. Featuring a newly designed stainless-steel retainer, SharkBite Max delivers additional strength and durability while providing a 250-psi pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less effort and doesn’t require a PEX tube liner. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required for installation. They are the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and HDPE pipe. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments, and removing the fitting is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed or reused. (SharkBite push-to-connect fittings are the fastest when compared to other conventual plumbing methods. All other comparisons relate to first generation SharkBite push-to-connect products.)

As a novice these push on fittings are perfect. Used this to create a spur for a new toilet

Impresswd with how well these fittings work. Cut the tube, make sure the ends are clean and square then press em together. Made a mistake? No problem, use the 80 cent tool to release the fitting and try again.

This connector made what could have been a difficult plumbing challenge very easy. I conne ted 3/4″ copper to two Pex lines running to a sink and a shower. All 3 connections worked perfectly the 1st time… Just make sure you clean the copper with emery cloth, don’t have any burrs, and fully push the connectors on with a slightly twisting motion.

Shark bite is super easy to install with a myriad of fittings to suit your needs. I am sold on these products and have given up copper altogether.

Don’t even consider buying anything else, if you need this type of fitting, buy the sharkbite

Maybe it was operator error, but when remodeling my girlfriends bathroom, we used all SharkBites for the new lines and 7 out of 10 of them leaked afterwards. I really cant recommend them over the old glue method

I used this Reducing Tee in a plumbing repair to replace a copper component that had corroded and began leaking. Once taking all of the correct measurements, replacing the original Reducing Tee (PVC), and the remaining components (PVC and copper) with SharkBite Push-to-Connect fittings and PEX tubing made the repair very easy!

This is the greatest thing invented especially for the old quest pipes. Quickest repair job ever.

Perfect replacement for what I needed, as always shark bite fittings work awesome

Converted copper to pex so I made copper to shark bite connects as well as pex to sharkbite connections. These have changed the DIY plumbing industry entirely. A little bit more pricey than standard brass/solder connections but the amount of time saved is well worth it. Just remember to get the little orange removal tools for the appropriate connection size along with any fitting.

Using the push to connect Shark bite fitting made my diy project super easy. Cut existing pex, mark the depth needed on new pex, and push into the shark bite tee. Perfectly connected with no leaks.

This fitting was perfect for cutting in an expansion tank. I had a newly installed Tankless Water Heater with built in Recirc and was getting thermal expansion. Used the SharkBite Max Tee to cut into copper line and install the expansion tank, the HoldRite expansion tank bracket was great for supporting the tank. New SharkBite fittings are much better than the old, easier to insert and no more battling the PEX stiffeners!

Easy to use and and secure permanent fix. Highly recommend for do it yourselfers.

SharkBite push to connect are great. But this fitting is not intended to be used on polybutylene pipe as pictured by one reviewer. I have made connections like that on polybutylene not knowing that it’s not designed for polybutylene mainly because the insert is too small to really fit the inside of the polybutylene. And in time they will begin to weep or leak badly. Always use the polybutylene to pex transition fittings to adapt to fittings like these.
